Abstract

Reproductive health programs are expected to improve the health and well-being of mothers, children, families and nations. Based on a preliminary survey conducted by researchers to 20 EFA mothers, the results showed that the majority of 12 EFA mothers stated that they were not satisfied with the family planning services provided by health workers at the Tualang Raso Health Center. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the satisfaction of fertile age couples (PUS) about family planning services in Tualang Raso Health Center Tanjungbalai in 2018.
The research design used was Cross Sectional. The population in this study were 3,715 people with a total sample of accidental sampling of 97 people. Data collection methods are primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test.
The results showed that there was a correlation between physical evidence (p = 0.006), responsiveness (p = 0.014) and assurance (p = 0,000) with satisfaction of fertile age couples (PUS) about family planning services in Tualang Raso Tanjungbalai Health Center in 2018.
For research sites, this research is expected to be a mirror of health services provided by health workers to families or communities and become input material in order to improve quality or quality in improving the public health service system and as an evaluation material and enhancement of insight to officers or implementers in increase the satisfaction of fertile age couples about family planning services.
