Abstract

Drugs are all single ingredients or mixtures used by all creatures for the inside and outside, in order to prevent, alleviate, or cure diseases, efforts to support health through medicine have been regulated by the minister of health no.284 / Menkes / Per / III / 2007 explaining management drug supply. The aim of this study is to find out how the implementation of narcotics drug management at Ulee Kareng Sub-district pharmacy in Banda Aceh.
This research uses descriptive method with cross sectional approach. This research became a population and samples were pharmacies in the area of Ulee Kareng Sub-district, Banda Aceh. The data collection was taken from primary data obtained from observations of pharmacies and documents in pharmacies using checklist.
The results of the evaluation of narcotics management at Ulee Kareng Sub-district pharmacy include the provision of narcotics drugs declared good with a percentage of 98% for 84% storage, 87% drug distribution, 65% documentation, 79% for recording and reporting, percentage value for narcotics drug management 83% with good judgment.
The conclusions of the study shows that narcotics drug management as a whole in terms of procurement, storage, distribution, documentation and recording and reporting at Ulee Kareng Sub-district pharmacy Banda Aceh is in a good category with a percentage of 83%. It is suggested that the local health workers care more about Narcotics Drug Management so that things do not go undesirable.
