Abstract
Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one indicator that is sensitive to the quality and accessibility of health service facilities. Based on the 2012 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS), MMR (which is associated with pregnancy, childbirth and childbirth) amounted to 359 per 100,000 live births. The purpose of this study is the relationship between family support and maternal compliance in the third trimester pregnancy examination in Midwife Practice Evi Rossa Sagala Tanjung Balai 2018
The study design was analytical survey research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were 30 trimester III pregnant women. The sampling technique uses total sampling, that is, the entire population is sampled as many as 30 pregnant women in Trimester III. Data collection with primary, secondary and tertiary data. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. Test the data using the chi-square test.
Based on family support, it can be seen that there are 9 respondents (30.0%) who support and 21 respondents (70.0%) support. Based on Compliance, there were 12 respondents (40.0%), and those who did not comply with the Pregnancy Trimester III prenatal check up to 18 respondents (60.0%). The results of cross tabulation analysis in this study with the results of the chi-square test at a confidence level of 95% with α = 0.05 and sig p = 0,000 for the relationship with Maternal Compliance in Pregnancy Trimester III Examination.
The conclusion of this study shows that there is family support with maternal compliance in the third trimester pregnancy examination in the Midwife Practice Evi Rossa Sagala Tanjung Balai in 2018. It is recommended for health workers especially in Midwife Practice Evi Rossa Sagala so that this research can be input in efforts to increase compliance with ANC examinations .
