Abstract
The immunization coverage program is a program to improve public health in order to achieve the vision of an independent community for healthy living, one of the targets is to reduce infant mortality. This study aims to determine the factors related to the completeness of basic immunization for 12-month-old infants in the Work Area of Lahewa Plus Nursing Health Center, Lahewa District, North Nias Regency, 2018.
This research is an analytical study with cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all mothers who had a 12-month-old baby totaling 63 respondents. Sampling using simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately using Chi-Square statistical test.
The results showed that there was a relationship of knowledge with the completeness of basic immunization for 12-month-old infants, with a p value (sig) = 0,000 <0.05, there was an employment relationship with complete basic immunization for 12-month-old infants with statistical test results obtained (sig ) = 0,000 <0,05, there is a relationship between husband's support and the completeness of basic immunization for 12-month-old infants, with p (sig) = 0.001 <0.05, there is a relationship between support of health workers and completeness of basic immunization for 12-month-old infants. with p value (sig) = 0.006 <0.05.
The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge, work, husband's support, and support from health workers with complete basic immunization for 12-month-old infants. Advice for health workers to improve health promotion, especially regarding immunization.
