Abstract

Sexual behavior is behavior that is driven by the sexual desire both done alone, with types of sexual relations. The results of the research obtained by researchers at SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Alas contained one student who was pregnant out of wedlock in 2017. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to sexual behavior in students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Alas in 2018.
This study uses analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in the study was all students at SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Alas of Southeast Aceh District from class X to class XII. The sample was obtained through the proportionate stratified random sampling technique which was 77 people. The data analysis was performed using the chi-square statistical test.
Based on the results of the study, it obtained from 77 students who obtained less of parents’ role as many as 43 students (55.8%), from 77 people influenced by the same age group as many as 45 students (58.4%), from 77 students intelligent having risky sexual behavior, namely 44 people (57.1%).
The conclusion of this study shows that there is a relationship between the role of parents and peers on free sexual behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Lawe Alas of Southeast Aceh District in 2018. It is suggested to a parent who has adolescents to provide appropriate information about women's health such as the pregnancy process, psychology, premarital for physical and psychological health, and establish good communication with children, especially in adolescence.
