Abstract
Patient satisfaction is an important problem for health care providers health care providers work and compete competitively in meeting customer satisfaction. Patient satisfaction is basically to satisfy patient expectations and understand their needs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of pharmacy Reability service quality (Reliability), Responsiveness (Responsiveness), Assurance (Assurance), Emphaty (Empathy), Tangibles (Direct Proof) on satisfaction of o utpatients at Sinar Husni Hospital Pharmacy Medan in 2018.
The design of this study used an analytical survey research with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were 500 patients, and the sample was 83 patients using the Slovin formula. Data collected through primary and secondary data and using univariate and bivariate analysis with the help of the computerization program.
The results of the study revealed that the distribution of pharmaceutical service quality from 83 respondents was in good category as many as 15 people (18.1%), enough categories as many as 23 people (27.7%), and less categories as many as 45 people (54.2%), and Outpatient satisfaction was in good category as many as 18 people (21.7%), enough categories as many as 17 people (20.5%), and less categories as many as 48 people (57.8%). ANOVA test results obtained F value calculated 3.204 with a significance of .077> .1 then simultaneously (Test F) there was an effect of outpatient satisfaction on the pharmacy service quality of Sinar Husni Hospital Medan in 2018.
The conclusion of this study that chi square test obtained p by .019 and therefore the value of p value .019 <.1 so that Ho is rejected by Ha accepted, it can be stated that there is an effect of outpatient satisfaction on pharmacy services at Sinar Husni Hospital Pharmacy Medan in 2018.
