Abstract

Sub-PPKBD is an extension agent who first touches the community, so that the sub-PPKBD is the spearhead of the program of population planning and family building in Indonesia. Three important indicators in the success of family planning programs are Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (CPR), Total Fertility Rate (TFR), and unmet need. In Tebing Tinggi the rate of CPR has experienced a decline in 2017 to 2018, namely 73.16% to 71.29%, TFR has experienced stagnant conditions 3 from 2017 to 2018, while themet need has experienced an increase in 2017 to 2018, namely 3,404 increases to 3,686. This research aims to find out the motivational relationship between working with sub-PPKBD officers in the KB program in the City of Tebing Tinggi in 2018.
The research used quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population of the study is 179 Sub-PPKBD officers in Tebing Tinggi as many as 124 people. A total of 124 people were taken using simple random sampling techniques. Data were obtained through interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis used anivariate and bivariate analysis with Chi-Square test statistics on 95% confidence levels.
The results of the study showed that some of the sub-PPKBD staff motivation in the City of Tebing Tinggi was moderate (63.7%) and performance was (94.4%). The results of statistical analysis show that the motivational relationship between the sub-PPKBD officers in the KB program in the City of Tebing Tinggi in 2018 with a value of p = 0.001.
It is recommended that sub-PPKBD tasks improve the immunization level in the work and maintain the good performance that has been achieved. To the Head of the PPKB PPA Office in Tebing Tinggi to maintain good relations and support the award for the achievement by the sub-PPKBD so that it can produce good performance in the success of the Family Planning Program promoted by the government.
