Abstract
Clean and Healthy Life Behavior in the household is an effort to empower household members to know, want and be able to practice PHBS and play an active role in the health movement in the community. The coverage of households with PHBS in the Cot Ie Jue Community Health Center working area in 2017 is still below the National target of 15%. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the implementation of PHBS in the household setting in the Cot Ie Jue District Health Center Bireuen working area in 2019.
The research design used was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional design study. The population in this study were all housewives in the Cot Ie Jue Community Health Center Bireuen District with a total of 4,524 households with a sample of 98 random cluster sampling techniques. Data analysis in this study used univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis with logistic regression.
The results showed that there was an influence of attitude (p = 0,000), facilities and infrastructure (p = 0,000) and family support (p = 0,004) and no influence of knowledge (p = 0,070), income (p = 0,122), accessibility (p = 0.050) and health personnel support (p = 0.071) on the implementation of PHBS in the household order. The most influential variable on the implementation of PHBS in household settings is facilities and infrastructure (p = 0,000) with Exp (B) = 21,740.
The conclusion of this study is that there is the influence of attitudes, facilities infrastructure and family support and the most influential variables on the implementation of PHBS in the Household Order are facilities and infrastructure. It is recommended to the officers of the Cot Ie Jue Health Center in Bireuen District to further enhance their role in promoting the implementation of the PHBS program in the household setting.
